Here is how it works.
- Work for 25 minutes and then take a short 5-minute break. That’s one hashtag#pomodoro .
- After the fourth pomodoro, take an extended, 15-minute break.
Simple!
Does it work? Absolutely!
Do you have to stick to these timings strictly? Not at all!
I may work for two pomodoros straight (without a break) if I am in the zone. Never longer than that, though.
If a 5-minute break feels like it will break the flow, at the very least, get up and drink water. Keep your eyes off your monitor!
